Materials

4 blank sheets of construction paper per childcutouts of bodies for an octopus, anant, a cow, and a chickencutouts of legs for each of theanimals

Instructions

1. Talk to children about animals and ask them how many legs a duck has. "What about a snake? A turtle?"2. Pass out the construction paper bodies and legs. Ask the children to glue one body on each blank piece of construction paper.

3. Next, have them glue on the legs that go with each body.

4. Talk about how many legs each animal has.
