Instructions

1. Introduce the song at a circle or group time. Ask the children to practice the
song and words.
2. Sing "Five More Minutes" to the tune of "Skip to My Lou" to let the children
know about an upcoming transition.

3. Five minutes prior to a change in activities, begin singing the song.
Encourage the children to join in.
4. Sing the song and hold up one hand with the five fingers, showing there are
five minutes left of that activity.
