Instructions

1. Read How Big Were the Dinosaurs?2. On the playground, school hallway or sidewalk, measure six foot (2 m) lengths, marking the measurement as you go.

3. Label the measurements in a manner similar to a timeline, beginning with familiar objects and gradually getting longer, for example, car, school bus, elephant, whale, etc.
