3 1/4 " x 5 1/4 " stiff white paper

1. Give each child a piece of stiff white paper. Demonstrate each step first, and
then help the children follow along.
2. Fold side AB down to meet side BD and crease along BC. Open and fold
back to the other side along the same crease. Open the paper flat again.

3. Fold side AB down to meet side AC and crease along AD. Open and fold
back to the other side along the same crease. Open the paper flat again.

4. Fold down so that corner A meets C and corner B meets D. Crease along EF.
Open the paper flat again. (Figure 1)
5. Push in the center crease of the paper so E and F are touching and fold edges
GD and GC down. At the same time A should meet C and B should meet D.
You will now have a triangle-pointed top on the paper. This is the head.

6. Bend up the corners A and B to form front legs under the snout. (Figure 3)
7. Fold in the sides of the frog to form a more narrow body. (Figure 4)
8. Accordion fold the straight edge opposite the snout, one fold up and one
down. (Figure 5)
9. Turn the frog over so it stands on its front legs and the accordion fold. The
smooth back is on top. Decorate brightly with the markers. (Figure 6)
10. Add two gummed reinforcements to create big eyes.
11. Push down on the back fold and slide your finger off the end of the frog to
make it jump and flip!
