Materials

cardboard

duct tape

shoelaces or thick string

Instructions

1. Divide the playdough into portions. Roll each into a ball and flatten to a
smooth circle about 1/2 " thick.
2. Press a dinosaur's feet into a circle to make footprints. Leave the dough or
clay out to harden, or bake it. Coat the fossils with sealant afterward, if
desired.
3. Encourage the children to match the fossil footprints to the correct dinosaur.
After making a guess, they can test it by fitting the feet into the print.
4. Provide dinosaurs and natural objects at the playdough table to for children
to create prints.
