Instructions

1. Send a note home asking parents to let their children bring in a small sample
of their favorite collection in a container on "Hobby and Collection Day."
2. On the designated day, ask each child to come to the circle and show her
collection. Ask the child questions about it. For example, "Where did you get
it?" "Why do you collect it?" "Which is your favorite in the collection?"
3. Encourage the children to ask questions, too.
