Instructions

1. Cut out circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and ovals in various sizes from
construction paper.
2. Put the shapes into a bag or box.
3. Tape white poster board to a wall and draw the outline of a person on it.
4. At Circle Time, ask each child to reach into the bag and pick a shape. Before
the child pulls it out of the bag, ask her to guess what it is by touch. If
desired, use a blindfold to ensure the child does not see the shape.
5. After she guesses what the shape is, ask her to remove it from the bag and
tape or paste it onto the outline of the shape person.
6. Continue adding other shapes to fill in the shape person.
