Instructions

1. Make "graham crackers" by cutting corrugated cardboard into 2" x 2" squares
and poking small holes through the center. Make "chocolate" by cutting dark
brown poster board into 1" x 2" rectangles.
2. Using white poster board, draw a pattern of a s'more for children to copy.
Draw a straight brown line to represent the toasting stick, and then glue a
cotton ball (marshmallow), two brown corrugated cardboard squares
(graham crackers), and one brown poster board square (chocolate piece) to
the line in a pattern. Cut out each item, so that there is only one pattern on a
piece.
3. Place the dowels (toasting sticks), "marshmallows," "graham crackers,"
"chocolate," and patterns in the dramatic play area. Add a fake fire (cut from
red and yellow tissue paper) for toasting.
