Materials

red, yellow, and orange drawing or construction paper

crayons

small fall-colored pompoms or sequins

Instructions

1. Help the children trace their hands on paper (hands open, but fingers
together to resemble the shape of a leaf ).
2. Encourage the children to color their leaves (hand outlines) with fall
colors.
3. Write each child's name on his paper.
4. Let the children cut out their leaf shapes, helping them as needed.
5. The children can decorate their leaves with pompoms and sequins.
6. Put the leaves on a bulletin board.
