Instructions

1. Children love rhymes so they will find this departure activity fun.
2. When the children are getting ready to depart, say a word such as "cat."
Choose a volunteer to give a rhyming word. If the child is correct, she says a
different word and picks the next child to give a rhyme before departing.
3. This goes on until everyone has departed.
