Instructions

1. Cut out two 7" circles from card stock or heavy paper. Cut out a "window" in
one of the circles, about halfway from the middle of the circle (see
illustration). Cut out another window on the other side of the circle. One
window will show the picture of the animal and the other window will show
the name of the animal.
2. Write a title on the circle such as "Under the Sea" or glue a picture with an
ocean theme on it. This will be the top circle.
3. Glue or draw seven sea animals on the other circle so that when this circle is
put directly underneath the top circle, the animal is viewed at the same time
as its word when the top wheel is attached and spun around.
4. Laminate both pictures for durability and trim them.
5. Poke a hole in the center of both circles and attach them with the brad
fastener.
6. Make this available to children when they have to wait for a turn or when
centers are closed. This gives them something constructive to do before the
next activity begins.
