Instructions
1. To save fingerpaint, ask the children to fingerpaint on a large, smooth cafeteria
tray.
2. Help children make prints by placing a piece of paper onto the painted surface
and pressing lightly.
3. This system has several advantages:
* No fingerpaint is wasted. Just add a little more water and a little more
fingerpaint for the next child. The technique uses about half of the
amount needed for the traditional method.
* Young preschoolers won't wear a hole in the center of the paper.
* You can use any shape of paper to get the prints without causing tears.
* A print dries more quickly than a traditional fingerpainting.
* Clean up is limited to the trays.
