Materials

Blue gelatin

Pitcher with no-spill lid

Small disposable dessert cups

Black marker

Cookie sheet

Refrigerator

Plastic spoons

Chocolate pudding (prepared beforehand)Medium-size plastic bowl

Tablespoon

Gummy alligators

Instructions

1. Help the children wash their hands.

2. Prepare the gelatin by following the directions on the back of the box.

3. Pour the liquid gelatin into a pitcher with a no-spill lid.

4. Give each child a dessert cup. Help the children write their names on their cups.

5. Using a marker, mark each cup to the half point and help the children fill their cups half full with gelatin.

6. Place the dessert cups on a cookie sheet and put it in the refrigerator.

7. When the gelatin is ready to serve, give the children their dessert cups and plastic spoons.

8. Place pudding (prepared beforehand) in a plastic bowl.

9. Show the children how to use a tablespoon to spoon pudding on top of the gelatin.
