Garden in a Wagon

Materials

old wagon

rocks

potting soil

water

shovels

small plants and/or seeds (including grass seed)

Instructions

1. Make photocopies of each child's photograph. Give each child a photocopy
of her face.
2. Ask the children to cut out their faces and glue them to construction paper.
3. Glue a magnet strip on the back of each picture.
4. Talk to the children about magnets. Ask them how magnets work. Encourage
them to try and stick their pictures on different surfaces to see if they stick.
