Instructions

* Galileo's birthday is February 15th. He was born in 1564.
1. Before the activity, cut two 6" x 6" tissue paper squares for each child.
2. Give each child a paper towel tube to paint. Let dry
3. Show the children how to put two pieces of tissue paper at the end of
the tube and fasten it with a rubber band.
4. Help the children punch small holes in the tissue paper.
5. Encourage them to look through their "telescopes" towards a light and
they will see "stars."
