various fruits cut into chunks

bamboo skewers

picture cards of fruits (optional)

Instructions

1. Give each child a bamboo skewer.
2. Demonstrate a fruit pattern on a skewer, for example, orange, apple, grape;
orange, apple, grape. If desired, provide picture cards in a pattern for them to
duplicate.
3. After the children make their patterns, invite them to eat the kabobs.
