Materials

blue tarp or shower curtainhot glue gunlight green, dark green, brown, and tan foam sheetsplastic toy flies (found at party supply and novelty shops)

Instructions

1. In advance, cut a blue tarp or shower curtain to represent a pond.

2. Also, in advance, cut light green foam sheets in the shape of lily pads. You will need 20 lily pad shapes.

3. Hot glue these shapes to the blue pond. Be sure to distribute them evenly throughout the "pond."4. Cut dark green, brown, and tan foam sheets in the shape of frogs (total of 20), and hot glue one frog to each lily pad.

5. Number each frog from 1 to 20.

6. Provide plastic flies for children to place on the frogs, and invite them to match the number of flies to the numbers on each frog.
