Instructions

Part One (Teacher Preparation)
1. Take a close-up photo of each child's face and copy it five times (a 3" x
5" photograph is large enough for this activity).
Note: You may need more or less copies of each child's face depending
on your class size. A small class may need more, a large class less.
2. Divide a piece of construction paper into six equal sections. Glue a
different child's face in each section to create a single Bingo card.
Repeat until you have enough Bingo cards for each child to have one.
Make sure you use each child's face only once on each card. Save one of
each child's face for the Bingo calling cards.
3. Cut construction paper into circles large enough to cover the child's
image completely. Make six of these for each Bingo card. These are the
Bingo chips. Make extra in case some get lost.
4. Create Bingo calling cards by pasting each child's photo on a 4" x 6"
index card.
5. Laminate everything for durability or cover with clear adhesive paper.
Part Two (Children Play the Game)
1. Give each child a Bingo card and six chips.
2. Show the Bingo calling cards one by one. Ask, "Who's this?" or "Which
friend is this?" Let the children call out the child's name. Ask them if they
have that child's photo on their Bingo card. If they do, they cover the
image with a Bingo chip.
3. Continue until one child has all of his images covered. Encourage that
child to call out "Bingo!"
4. Repeat until all of the Bingo calling cards have been used. By the end of
the game, each child will have had a chance to shout "Bingo!" and win
the game.
More to do When you show a child's face, that child stands up and shouts "My name is
______________."
