Materials

tagboard or cardboard

sturdy paper

tempera paint

scissors

yarn

hole punch

green paper

frog stickers

paper towel tubes

Instructions

1. Bring the wading pools or sensory tables outdoors and fill one with water
and one with sand.
2. Let the children pick an animal or doll to bring to the "beach."
3. Ask the children to help pack the beach supplies including towels and
sunglasses. If desired, also pack a snack and water to drink.
4. Bury shells in the sand table for the children to discover. If desired, add water
to the sand table so children can build sandcastles.
5. Children can paint on the sidewalk with the water.
