Instructions
1. Focus on one color.
2. On a particular day, week, or period of time, use materials that are one color.
For example, put one color of paint at the easel, decorate the room with one
color of crepe paper and balloons, and put out one color of clay or playdough.
3. Send a note home to parents ahead of time to explain what you are doing
and to ask that each child wear a certain color on a specified day.
4. Serve a snack that is the same color as the rest of the materials.
5. At the end of the week (or time period), have a rainbow-colored parade with
color banners (see page 87).
