Instructions

1. Make two daisies out of foam board or cardboard. Have detachable petals for
the second daisy. Each petal can have an area in which the children can
choose to play during free play.
2. Let the children choose an area and then place the petal next to the center
of the daisy to form a daisy. You can use this for name recognition with the
children.
3. Use this for easy transitions and for job helpers, games, cleanup, snack, or
lining up to go outside.
Note: You need a blank daisy at each center so the child can put her petal on
the daisy. When that daisy is full, the child knows that she must find another
center to play in.
