Large unbreakable objects, such as plastic cups, Styrofoam cups, empty cans, cartons, boxes

Blindfold

Instructions

1. Set up an obstacle course with the objects. Ask one child to put on the blindfold. Note: some children may be uncomfortable wearing a blindfold.

2. The other children give directions for the blindfolded child to follow to avoid colliding with the obstacles.

3. Keep count of the number of obstacles the child knocks over. Change the course after each player.

4. Chart the results. Encourage the children to try the obstacle course again. Count how many obstacles they knock over this time. Compare the results of their first and second turns.
