Instructions

-Each child could bring along their own inexpensive frame.
-Prepare paper for painting that will match the frame sizes.

1. Talk with the children about people in their neighborhood.
2. Distribute the black markers to the children and ask them to draw someone who is special to them. Have them also draw people in their neighborhoods.
3. Show the children how to use the paint as a "wash" over the black ink drawing portraits.
4. Once dry, insert the pictures into the photo frames and display them around the room as an art exhibition.
