The first one said, "Stop when a red light you meet."
The second one said, "When it's green, you can go."
The third one said, "And yellow means slow."
The fourth one said, "We must always follow the rules."
The fifth one said, "So don't be a fool!"
Five little cars were driving down the street,
And no accidents did they meet.
Instructions
1. At a teacher or school supply store, purchase a small, shaped notepad. They
are usually about 3" (7 cm) in size and come in assorted designs and themes.
2. Separate the sheets and arrange them on a piece of poster board in a start-tofinish
layout.
3. Label some of the spaces, such as "Move ahead 1," and so on.
4. When you have arranged the notepad pages as desired, glue them to the
poster board.
5. Cover the poster board with clear contact paper or laminate it for durability.
More to do
Design a game board to fit any theme or learning objective. Use standard dice
and standard game pieces (or save small toys to use as game pieces). Add colored
dot stickers in a random fashion and make matching cards for a customized
Candyland-type game.
