Materials

8 1/2 " x 11" (21 cm x 27 cm) construction paper, various colors

Markers or crayons

Decorations, such as stickers or glitter

Laminate or clear contact paper

Instructions

1. Punch a hole into each side of a paper plate.
2. Encourage the children to scrunch pieces of tissue paper to resemble flowers.
3. Help them glue the tissue paper to the bottoms of the plates using glue sticks
or paste.
4. Run a ribbon or piece of yarn through one hole, over the tissue flowers, and
through the other hole.
5. Tie the ribbons to secure the hat on a happy little child.
