Finding Cloud Shapes

Rest mats or towels

Instructions

1. On a nice day with clouds and a little breeze, take the children outside and have themspread mats or towels out on the ground.

2. Tell the children to lie down on the mats and look at the sky.

3. Encourage them to use their imaginations and find interesting shapes in the clouds.Ask them if they see changes in the shapes as the clouds move across the sky.More to doArt: Paint cloud shapes on blue paper with thick white tempera paint.
