Instructions

1. Cut out an egg shape from felt. Cut it in half to look like a cracked egg.
2. Cut out shapes (triangle, square, circle, and so on) smaller than the egg
shape from felt.
3. Put the egg shape on top of a shape.
4. Let the children "crack open" the egg and name the shape.
5. As a variation, use different colors of felt and have the children identify
the colors.
