Instructions

* National Pet Week is the first full week in May.
1. Write "What is your favorite pet?" on a header card and put at the top of a
pocket chart.
2. Display pictures of different pets at the top of each column.
3. Ask each child, in turn, to name her favorite.
4. Place her name card under the appropriate pet to indicate her choice.
5. Discuss the results of the graph.
