Materials

chalkboard or dry-erase boardchalk or dry-erase markereraser

Instructions

1. Write numbers on the board and ask who would like to come up and erase the number you call.

2. Write only a couple numbers at a time. This helps the children who don't know many numbers succeed. For example, write 2 and 7, and ask, "Who would like to come up and erase the seven?"3. If a child doesn't know a number, let her erase either one and ask if anybody knows what that number is.

4. If you want to challenge the children, write more numbers on the board at one time.
