Instructions
1. At the very end of the day, at the end of the final circle time, sing a modified
version of the song "Tomorrow" from the musical "Annie." This is great for
comforting those children who cry at the end of the day to reassure them
that they will be coming back to do it all again.
Tomorrow, tomorrow
We'll see you, tomorrow
It's only a day away!
2. On Friday, sing:
Monday, Monday,
We'll see you on Monday,
It's only three days away.
3. The children love this ritual, and many will not leave until the song is sung,
even if it means singing the song in the middle of the day! Little rituals such
as this song are sources of comfort for children who use them to feel "at
home" at school.
