Instructions

1. The first time through this song, sing or chant it in your normal voice. Each
repetition thereafter, sing it in a softer voice.
2. Prolong the first syllable of the word "quiet" in the first two lines. Extend it a
bit longer in the third line. Then, put an emphasis on the second syllable of
the word "today" in the last line.
3. This helps bring the children together so you can lead them into the rest or
nap area.
Time for qu-i-i-i-et time,
Time for qu-i-i-i-et time,
Time for qu-i-i-i-et time today.
(repeat)
