Materials

Styrofoam egg cartons

Scissors (for adult use only)

Instructions

1. Give each child two washcloths. Demonstrate how to lay them flat.
2. Help the children sew the two washcloths together, leaving a space to add
stuffing later.
3. Encourage the children to decorate their pillows by gluing on eyes, yarn (to
make hair), and fabric scraps.
4. Stuff the pillow and sew it closed. Use these as "naptime pals."
