Instructions
1. Build visual discrimination skills and fine motor skills with this variation of a
tried and true activity. Find a picture from a children's magazine, activity
book, or the Internet of approximately 20 cats (or other animals or objects)
hidden in different places.
2. Tape the picture on a wall at child's height. Write each child's name on a
piece of paper and draw a line next to each name. Tape the paper
underneath the picture.
3. Invite the children to come to the center and count the number of cats they
see in the picture. Ask them to write their answers next to their names.
