Materials
1 1/4 cups (140 g) crushed graham crackers 1/4 cup (60 g) sugar 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) nutmeg 1/2 cup (160 g) peanut butter
Mixing bowl and spoon 1/3 cup (80 ml) light corn syrup
Powdered sugar and wax paper
Cookie sheet and refrigerator
Instructions
1. Combine crushed graham crackers, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
2. Stir in peanut butter and corn syrup. Mix well.
3. Help the children wash their hands.
4. Show the children how to form the mixture into 1/2 " (1 cm) balls.
5. Pour powdered sugar onto wax paper and encourage the children to roll the balls in it as desired.
6. Place the balls on a cookie sheet and allow them to chill in the refrigerator. (Makes two dozen.)
