large tub or sensory table

large bag of cornstarch

small plastic animals

smocks

wet towel

small shovels

bowls

Instructions

1. Cut off the top of the cereal box and cover the box with paper.
2. Glue a picture of a penguin the size of the box on the front of the box. If you
don't have a picture, draw one on the box.
3. Cut out goldfish shapes from paper and put them on a blue paper plate (to
represent water). Put the box on a table along with goldfish cutouts.
4. To play the game, the children take turns rolling the dice. Whatever number
appears on the dice, the child counts that many fish and "feeds" them to the
penguin by putting them in the box.
