Materials

Jars with assorted sized mouths and height

Seeds

Paper and pencil, optional

Instructions

1. In advance, freeze fish-shaped ice cubes.

2. If possible, place the water table outside and fill it about 3/4 full.

3. Place the frozen fish ice cubes in the water.

4. As the fish are floating, encourage the children to use the plastic tongs to catch the fish.More to do:Snack: Make goldfish Jell-O. Follow the directions on the back of the box. Pour the liquid Jell-O into a flat aluminum tray. Place the tray in a refrigerator until the liquid becomes solid. When the Jell-O is firm, use a fish cookie cutter to cut out goldfish. Serve and eat!
