Materials

Flat Styrofoam meat trays

felt-tipped markers (water-based)

white glue

scissors

hole punch

fishing line

Instructions

1. Give each child a flat Styrofoam meat tray. Encourage them to make designs
or pictures on the meat trays using felt-tipped markers.
2. Tell the children to pour enough glue on their tray to cover the design. Let
them stand overnight.
Tip: Use different colors of glue or add glitter to the wet glue.
3. When the glue is completely dry, peel the edges of the glue and let it dry
another day.
4. The second day, peel off the glue from the tray completely.
5. Encourage the children to cut out a design from the dried, peeled glue.
6. Punch a hole into the dried glue design and hang it by a fishing line.
