Instructions

1. Tell the children they will be creating a classroom circus.
2. Assign jobs to prepare the circus. Some might help you pop popcorn and
paint paper bags. Help them write "popcorn" on the front.
3. Some can create tickets by cutting paper into ticket shapes and drawing on
them.
4. Let the children decide what they will be in the circus (ringmaster, lions,
clowns, and so on). Help them create masks using paper plates, yarn, and
paint.
5. Decorate the room. Use a sheet to make a tent, and hang balloons and
streamers from the ceiling.
6. Designate a ticket taker to take the audience's tickets and let the show begin!
