Instructions

1. Separate the children into pairs.

2. Invite the children to pretend they are going to the doctor for a physical or checkup. Explain that one child will be the doctor and the other the patient.

3. The "doctor" weighs the patient and records his weight, measures and records his height, and listens to the patient's heart and records how many times the heart beats for 10 seconds. Help them by calling out the time.

4. When the doctor is finished, invite the children to switch roles.
