Materials

rice cakes

peanut butter

small plastic knives

dinosaur fruit snacks

paper plate or paper towel

Instructions

1. Ask two children to stand facing each other. Explain that they will take turns
playing clocks.
2. One player holds one hand straight up (12:00). The right hand will be the
9:00 side of the clock; the left hand will be the 3:00 side.
3. The child puts her other hand at 3:00, 6:00 or 9:00.
4. The other child guesses what time it is.
5. Encourage them to take turns being the clock and guessing the time.
