Magazines or newspapers that have pictures of cars

Glue

3" x 5" (7 cm x 12 cm) index cards

Laminate or clear contact paper

Shoebox

Instructions

1. Take a photo of each child. Make two copies of each child's photo.
2. Glue the photos to index cards and laminate or cover them with clear contact
paper for durability.
3. Place the photos face down on a table.
4. Play like a regular memory game. The child turns over two cards at a time. If
they match, the child keeps the set. If not, the child turns them back over and
tries again.
5. Continue until the children have matched all the cards.

For an easier version, place one of each set face up on the table. Hold the other
set in your hand. Show a child one of the cards and ask her to identify the child.
Then, ask her to find the matching face on the table. For a funny version, ask the
children to make funny faces when you take their photographs.
