Materials

2 decks of cards

Instructions

1. Gather the children into groups of two or three players per two decks of cards.

2. Remove all face cards (jacks, queens, kings, and aces) and divide the remaining cards in the stack evenly between the players.

3. Place each stack of cards face down. Each player turns over one card and compares them: "Is mine more or less?"4. The person with "more" takes her opponents' cards and places them in a new pile in front of him. In the event of duplicate cards, everyone turns over a new card and places it on their original card, ignoring the first card. The player with the highest card gets all of the other players' turned over cards.

5. Once all of the original cards have been played, each player counts the cards in her new pile.
