Instructions
1. Write a numeral from 1 to 10 on each of the dog outlines.
2. The children select a dog outline and count out the corresponding number of dots (for example, three dots on the numeral 3 dog).
3. The children glue the correct number of spots on the dog.
4. Display the counting cards in the math area.
5. Use this concept for other animals, such as cheetahs, zebras, or tigers.
6. This is a great way to involve children in making counting cards to use in the classroom.
