Instructions

1. This is a great activity when you have a few extra moments outdoors on a
hot and sunny day. Use chalk to draw a target on a cement or stucco wall.
2. Place a start line on the pavement.
3. Place a bucket of wet sponges next to the start line.
4. Form a line and encourage the children to take turns tossing the sponges
towards the target.
Art: Use paintbrushes dipped in water to make designs on the wall and
pavement. Talk about how the sunshine causes the designs to evaporate.
