Materials

several large packing boxes

paint and brushes

two refrigerator boxes

two large, round ice cream containers (bins used in ice cream shops)

masking tape

poster board

scissors

felt

sequins and glitter

glue

dowel rods

markers

cardstock paper

ropes (optional)

Instructions

1. Make paper plate footballs with the children. Give each child a paper plate.
2. Children fold their paper plate in half and staple shut.
3. Let children paint the paper plate brown on both sides.
4. When it is dry, use a black marker to draw laces.
