green and blue paper

card stock

Velcro

laminating paper

black marker

glue

Instructions

* April is National Frog Month.
1. Cut five frogs out of green paper.
2. Draw one spot on one frog, two spots on the next frog, and so on until
the fifth frog has five spots.

3. Laminate the frogs.
4. Cut 15 kidney-shaped lily pads out of green paper.
5. Cut out five ovals (for ponds) from blue paper.
6. Glue one lily pad on one pond, two lily pads on the next pond, three on
the next, and so on.
7. Glue the ponds to card stock and laminate.
8. Put a piece of Velcro on the back of each frog and on the front of each
pond.
9. Have the children match the frog with the same number of spots to the
pond with that number of lily pads.

* frogs and tadpoles
* bees and flowers
* caterpillars and butterflies
* rockets and planets
