Instructions

1. Have children transition from one activity to another by moving a certain
way, for example, jumping, hopping, skipping, walking backwards, or
tiptoeing.
2. Try one of the following:
* Start by telling the children how to move and then demonstrating the
movement.
* Later have children take turns deciding how to move.
* Have one child choose a movement and the others follow.
* Try moving in twos with children holding hands and doing the
movement.
* Try adding a second component to the movement, for example, tiptoeing
and patting your head.
