Instructions

1. Take a photo of each child and laminate it. Put the photos in a basket by the
door.
2. As the children arrive, they find their picture and put it on the magnetic
board.
3. At circle time, review who is there and who is not (pictures left in the basket).
4. As they begin to recognize their names, switch from pictures to name cards.
5. At the beginning of the year, this helps children learn their classmates' names
and helps with the transition of arriving at school.
