Variety of objects in assorted colors or colorful pictures of objects
Instructions
1. Give each child a picture of a flower.
2. Sing the following words to the tune of "Old MacDonald." As you sing the song,
the child with the picture of the flower you are singing about holds it up.
Mrs. Hubbard had a garden, e, i, e, i, o.
In this garden she had some roses, e, i, e, i, o.
With a rose here and a rose there,
Here a rose, there a rose, everywhere a rose.
Mrs. Hubbard had a garden, e, i, e, i, o.
3. Continue adding different flowers to the song. End it with "Mrs. Hubbard
took good care of her garden, e, i, e, i, o."
