Instructions

1. Mix strawberry jam with the cream cheese to give it a slight color and flavor.
Children enjoy watching the color change.
2. Give each child a plastic knife and half of a mini-bagel.
3. Put a small amount of cream cheese on top of each bagel half and ask the
children to spread it.
4. With a spoon, let each child put a small dollop of strawberry jam in the
center of the bagel.
More to do
Mix dill with the cream cheese instead of using jam. Top with a slice of
cucumber.
